From 1 July 2021, Slovenia will hold the presidency and chair the Council of the European Union, ending the trio formed with Germany and Portugal since June 2020. The joint trio-EU program has been primarily dedicated to the recovery of Europe and strengthening its resilience after facing an unprecedented crisis caused by the Coronavirus pandemic.
For the six months of its EU Presidency, Slovenia has identified four substantive pillars, brought together under the slogan “Together. Resilient. Europe.”
