logos has helped a leading Asian 5G infrastructure provider to uphold its reputation as a trustworthy provider of 5G networks and bolstered its contacts with relevant policymakers and telecom operators.
In early 2019, the European Union (EU) started setting up a regulatory framework for the certification of 5G services. Following concerns raised by the United States and some Member States, European institutions decided to scrutinise foreign vendors of 5G infrastructure for their safety and integrity.
Pressured to engage further with European regulators, the Asian 5G provider called logos for advice on how to engage efficiently with European institutions and support for organising a successful opening of its cybersecurity lab in Brussels. The main goal was to raise on this new platform for dialogue the wider range of services offered by this new platform.
logos assisted the client with its public relations magic and its expertise in telecommunication and digital technology.
Thanks to intelligence and contacts, logos secured the participation of policymakers, shapers and influencers, such as European Commission officials, telecom operators, and representatives from GSMA, the leading industry association for mobile telecom operators. logos drafted the invitation letters and assured a personal follow-up.
logos also designed the branding and scenography of the launch event for the Cybersecurity Lab Europe in Brussels. logos produced roll-ups and programmes for attendees. It also coordinated the logistics (e.g. registration, catering, AV equipment).
Throughout the contract, logos compiled a weekly newsletter with the media clippings mentioning the Asian 5G infrastructure provider across the European Union. For each media mention, the newsletter provided a direct link, the name of the outlet and an indication of its average reach.
The launch event brought together a broad audience, including high-level decision-makers, telecom operators as well as other professional industry associations. Prior to the event and immediately afterwards, logos secured media interviews with industry-specialist reporters.
Thanks to the successful launch of its Cybersecurity Lab, the client upheld its strong reputation as a trustworthy provider of 5G networks and bolstered its contacts with relevant policymakers and telecom operators.
