Project management:

• Leads the events yearly planning across clients and projects;

• Oversees the events related work of more junior staff;
• Works closely with relevant department leads to ensure a smooth coordination of events;
• Leads the monthly planning meetings and oversees the decision-making process for confirming individual event topics and deadlines.

Content creation:

• The Policy Events Content Coordinator will research and write engaging and topical programmes that provide an imperative to attend for delegates;
• Drives the agenda and event programme content and is ready to communicate it to the client;
• Together with the Project Manager, he or she will source potential speakers and will manage invitations;
• Undertakes speaker briefing and administration to ensure smooth running of logistics on the day and a good experience for the speaker
• Define pre, during and post event messaging and outreach to target audiences.

Experience

• Hands-on experience in events organisation and developing events programmes and agendas;
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar position;
• Minimum of 2 years in a position requiring people management;

Skills

• Strong project management skills: time management, process oriented, attention to detail; ability to meet deadlines, understanding client requests and supplier needs; managing budget and resources;
• Entrepreneurial spirit and understanding of the factors involved in client decision-making processes for consultancy services;
• Creative approach to problem-solving;
• Able to visually conceptualise technical or complex content;
• Fluent written and spoken English (native speaker or equivalent); command of another European language is a plus;
• Experience with developing content for event platforms, including virtual exhibition, session descriptions.

Education

• Master’s degree in Public Relations, Marketing, Events management, Communication or other related fields.
