logos is looking to hire a Junior Communications Consultant (paid internship) to join its fast-growing team in Brussels, Belgium, in the heart of the EU bubble. We are a public affairs consultancy part of the mci group, a global corporation specialised in communication, event and association management with 60 offices in 31 countries.

your responsibilities

You will write media plans and develop social media plans but also implement social media strategies on LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook and Instagram, primarily for our sustainability, energy and mobility-related clients. Moreover, you will support the senior team in the general delivery of communications activities.

This includes:

  • Draft media plans based on prospect/client meetings;
  • Write clear content for different platforms including news outlets, press releases, website content and social media;
  • Regularly post and schedule content on clients’ social media feeds;
  • Develop compelling visuals for social media (i.e. using tools such as Canva);
  • Strategically identify and post engaging content for the company and clients;
  • Analyse social media performance and produce reports;
  • Support other activities assigned to the communications team (e.g. liaising with contractors and 3rd party providers);
  • Participate in weekly internal corporate communications activities.

our successful candidate

  • You have a master’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing or International Relations;
  • You have previous experience in drafting media and social media plans;
  • You have relevant knowledge in the field of communications and social media channels, as well as a hands-on experience in engaging with audiences and social media influencers;
  • You are able to successfully manage a Facebook/LinkedIn page, a Twitter/Instagram feed for associations or public organisations;
  • You are well-organised, pay attention to detail and you can meet deadlines;
  • Intellectual curiosity, ability and will to deep-dive in technical topics, entrepreneurial and creative approach to problem solving;
  • Excellent written and oral communication in English is mandatory (native speaker or equivalent); other European languages are a big plus.
