Association Management Consultant 

 

logos public affairs is looking to recruit an association management consultant to join its growing team of policy and association experts working with high-profile clients from the industry on topics related to sustainability and technology.

job description

The consultant will work closely with the Association Management team and the main duties will be the following:

 

    • Association management with a special focus on sustainability (apparel & footwear, wood pulp and packaging) and technology (telecoms, automotive & mobility, space & aviation):
      • coordination of working group roadmap and deliverables
      • meeting organisation, attendance, facilitation and follow-up
      • internal secretariat coordination and liaison with association leaders
      • developing related positions to regulators and standardisation bodies
    • Contribute to client meetings and project management
    • Conduct research on various topics and analyse impact on clients’ business
    • Contribute to logos business development in support of the senior staff

the successful candidate

  • Is a positive team player and willing to pro-actively pull own weight to get the work done;
  • Is organised and structured with an eye for detail, with an ability to meet deadlines and to communicate effectively with colleagues and management
  • Has or wants to develop effective project and operational management skills)
  • Conducts administrative processes efficiently (budget management, membership management, meeting organisation. One-year plus experience, working with / for an industry association, or a consultancy, is a plus
  • Has a keen understanding of sustainability, mobility and / or technology areas;
  • Is intellectually curious, with a demonstrated ability and willingness to dive into technical topics to support team’s knowledge and the client’s needs
  • Possesses excellent research skills, ability to synthesise information and extract key messages
  • Excellent written and oral communication in English is mandatory. Other EU language(s) is /are a plus
  • Has a good understanding of EU decision-making process;
  • Is available to join the team at short notice.
  • Is eligible to work in the EU
