logos is looking to hire a Communications Consultant to join its fast-growing team in Brussels, Belgium in the heart of the EU bubble. We are a public affairs, communications and association management consultancy part of the MCI group, a global corporation specialised in communication, event and association management with 60 offices in 31 countries. This job opening is in the communications team working with clients on sustainability, energy and mobility topics.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
You will write media and social media plans, as well as creating content for the web, traditional media, LinkedIn, X , Facebook and Instagram. Moreover, you will support the senior team in the general delivery of communications activities. This includes:
- Draft media plans based on prospect/client meetings
- Regularly post and schedule content on clients’ social media feeds
- Develop compelling visuals for social media
- Strategically identify and post engaging content for the company and clients
- Interact with specific communities to increase engagement and followers
- Identify key influencers and conversations in logos sectors
- Analyse social media performance and produce reports
- Supporting other activities assigned to the communications team (e.g. copy-writing)
- Participate to weekly internal corporate communications activities
OUR SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE
- You have a master’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing or International Relations
- You have previous experience in drafting media and social media plans and content
- You have relevant knowledge in the field of communications and social media channels, as well as a hands-on experience in engaging with audiences and social media influencers
- You can successfully manage a Facebook/LinkedIn page, a X (formerly Twitter)/Instagram feed for associations or public organisations
- You have an eye for good graphic content and can use the relevant tools to create it
- You are well-organised, pay attention to detail and you can meet deadlines
- You are intellectually curious, able and willing to dive into technical topics. You are entrepreneurial and take a creative approach to problem solving
- Excellent written and oral communication in English is mandatory (native speaker or equivalent); other European languages are a big plus
- You are available to join the team at short notice
- You are eligible to work in the EU
